The Essence of the stories in this paper.
Nostradamus wrote his Prophecies with each verse's message concealed by code. In the following verses variations of his name provide the signature to those quatrains holding the procedures he used. Amongst these, numerical valuation based on processes used for neumatic notation of music are the key.
Using these numbers the positions of stars and planets can be established and thereby a calendar can be built giving each verse a unique set of applicable dates. This calendar has particular relevance to the stories of fiery objects coming from the heavens causing nuclear devastation to mankind through reduction of the sexual capability of men.I begin with some of Nostradamus' notes on computerization of his work.
There are only four examples where Nostradamus incorporates anagrams based on the idea of computation and there are no mathematical anagrams based on the root 'calc', 'mathematic' or 'computeriz'. The four are all singular occurrences and three are so complex and improbably modern that they should be easy to discount as the product of chance alone.
These three words are 'computerisation' 'computerised' and 'minicomputer'. The fourth is found in a verse where Nostradamus uses the word 'comptes' and this is the root for 'computes' and at a glance it seems it should be easy to discount since it only needed a 'u' in front or after it to turn into the nominated anagram. This ease of creation for one and the sheer improbability of the others means we should be able to dismiss them all at this point but what makes them so intriguing is that when the verses in which they are found are examined in detail and we look at the other rare anagrams that accompany them, the task of their dismissal becomes much harder.
So taking the easiest one of the words to dismiss we can see the anagrammatic basis for Computes.plan comes from anspl uscompte in the following verse (right hand column, first row of the table). The other anagrams in the verse unexpectedly offer a rough sense of purpose such as that found when key words are entered into Google or some other search engine.
When you do a search on Google with any two of the rarest key words in my lists you will find that there are millions of sites containing these words (17m with Nostradamus, 61m with compute, 2330m with calendar) but through logical design of keywords this paper comes uin the first ten see Nostradamus +compute.
Other of my papers are in the toten for Nostredame + computes and Nostredame +calendar. and when you enter Nostradamus+computes+calendar two of my papers are in the toten even though there are 1 million entries found. This is the sort of sorting power that I find in Nostradamus' anagrams; non-literate but definitive and their presence is in such numbers that they give all the hallmarks of a deliberate coding system.
And conversely in the web searches given above there are millions of sites that don't make the toten so when a site does you know it is most likely by careful design not chance. Nostradamus' own words suggest he applied these same principles in his code.
But the danger of the times, O Most Serene King, requires that
such secrets should not be bared except in enigmatic sentences having,

Now in reading the original verse in the middle column it is easy to see why many readers have believed that it in some way refers to Nostradamus himself. Some have gone further seeing it as Nostradamus stating he had method in his seeming madness. There may be disagreements as to how valid all the anagram-references are but at this early stage it is enough to sense that there is an unreasonably high incidence of musically related terms such as ornamented notes.
In addition the name of Nostredame seems highly relevant as Nostradamus' given name was Michel Nostredame and although his surname doesn't occur in the verse as a whole anagram the combination it forms with 'entone' implies a link between the writer and sound. This musical allusion is backed uin the anagrams of the first line and also by Nostradamus' visible message in the second line where the person mentioned in the verse is the ornament of his time. Adding to their worth is that the hidden wording in the third and fourth lines gives a quite acceptable set of details that enhance and validate the surface messages.
So although the seemingly out-of-place word computes on its own is easy to dismiss as mere coincidence its setting in this verse makes it more difficult to discard as an unintentional fluke. And if the anagrammatic word combinations are examined closely you will find that many are actually sequential which reduces further the probability that their placement is accidental. Even given the strong capacity of everyone to build pattern out of shadows this verse is unexpectedly interconnected.
Even so, if the above was all that I had discovered in the Prophecies I would have saved much time for I would have stopped my search. However I have found that there is a vast amount of material that relates to this theme of Nostradamus' computerisation of astronomic code via music and several other major themes.
The next two verses I will show as a pair because their most complex anagrams and words relate to the same complex concept yet each is difficult to explain away on the basis of their root. Computerisation comes from erpoinctmisatou (C10 Q65 L.4) and computerised via ctdiSperueMo (C6 Q6 L.4 ).
The first of this pair links directly to the verse above since its second line has individual anagrams for Nostredamus and entoned whereas the previous verse held an anagrammatic combination forming Nostredame-entone. And in this linkage a quite noteworthy aspect arises since they both hold a play on the prophet's name; a highly pertinent linkage given that it is Nostradamus who did the computations. And yet the name takes various forms unlike my other anagrams but this is a most plausible way for his name to be included. Nostradamus is the author so anyone interested in decoding his work would naturally look for anagrams of his name.
For this reason it would be unreasonable to expect his work to be dotted with simple anagrams of either Nostradamus or Michel Nostredame and for this to have remained hidden for nearly 500 years. Nostradamus was aware of the harm his work might bring in unenlightened times and by his own statements set out to make it difficult to read. But he always did expect a time would come when his work would be seen as is apparent in the above verse.

Note 4: Throughout this paper and my other works I demonstrate that Nostradamus' prophecies hold an information web. Such a coding method is very powerful since it is built by the links between the most potent nodes.
If this is so then Nostradamus' method is not unlike the mechanisms that underpin the strength of the internet and its search engines. But such schemes mean literacy is often missing so wherever possible I try to improve the readability by the inclusion of simple anagrams
In reading the hidden content it should be kept in mind that even some of the rarest of them may be accidental products and I don't intend to imply these lesser ones add anything more than readability. It is only by means of the interwoven web of correlations and story-lines that any validity can be established and these do abound in amongst this computational stream.C06 Q06 (Click left for full analysis)
Many of the other anagrams in these two verses are almost as rare or as rare as that of the anagrams for computing words. There are for example no other anagrams for encodements, pseudometric, nongenocidal, sefirah/s or denouncements while there is only one other for each of Nostredamus, penetrations and presentation. There are two others for tremendous, uuheel, predicts and perfection all of which makes each of their appearances hard to explain as a product of chance.
These two verses show the different nature of the ties but each story forms a branch that is reinforced by following the themes it introduces. In this regard the ties amongst the three verses so far presented is greatest between the first two but even the last one does link in with talk of ruin or death for a Roman entity thereby binding it to the common thread.
There is another major theme and it is introduced in the last of the anagrams whose roots lie in modern computing. This anagram seems the most improbable for it suggests awareness and use of a technology far beyond the normal 16th century person. Minicomputers is so incredible that it would seem prudent to discard it on that basis alone yet there are reasons why it needs to be retained. Even upon examination of the anagrams there is no strong basis upon which it can be retained and it is only through using the cues given by the anagrams in the first line and by knowledge of anagrams in a key verse that a reason can be found. A factor suggesting it is worth persevering is its ties to music which have also been found in the other verses.

In the first line Nostradamus refers to second and third (intervals) as being the basis for making the music while the code underneath talks directly of code made possible by a minicomputer. It implies that music sets the rules by which the code can be detected.
By these reference points there is a clear link to the earlier observations since the idea of intervals provides detail to which the other verses merely allude and in so doing it suggests there may be a way that numbers can be given to Nostradamus' lines of verse. The following is from Wikipedia's entry on intervals in music
Music unites the words found in these four verses through terms like ratio, intoned and perfection. And there is a poorly spelled anagram for etiquette in the hidden code of the verse above which emphasizes Nostradamus' purpose of setting the rules by which to code his verse. Another important aspect of these anagrams is that they aren't trite and lead to definition and confinement of the task involved.
Even with the limited basis of four verses it is possible to imagine a quatrain as being the four lines used for older music and from the repetitive combinations of letters in the quatrains we can define ratios.
And by their placement on the lines in locations that mimic the Sephirot we may be able to ascribe numbers to each verse. But although it is a possibility it is not the only way it might be done. My arguments at this point remain weak but this is true when only four verses are involved. The next stage of the analysis dramatically alters the value of the foregoing evidence.
The Type of Musical Notation
Inevitably all themes relating to a code link to a cornerstone verse and in Nostradamus' Prophecies it is Quatrain 100 in Centuries 6. Right from the first time I read this verse I sensed it was not a useless rant by Nostradamus but a cryptic key meant to be used in breaking the code. Below I show most of what the years of research have yielded. It has a logical place here in this paper since it is one of three verses that carry non-simple anagrams for music in their hidden messages.

The above is a powerful verse with powerful hidden messages that amplify and allow a resolution to Nostradamus' warning And in the line holding the anagram for music it holds what seems to be very vital clues PROOF.A.NUMVUL.GUEST.IN.MUSIC, NEUMATICS.UNITES.VULGANUM(common).
Out of of this potent set of allusions we have a possible definition of the way in which music is to be treated in order to generate number values; we have to use the methods of neumatic notation. There is only one other occurrence of neumatics as an anagram and one other for neumatic and it is logical that this word referring to a practise in the middle ages should be explored.
The Neumatic Reference pointsSo far I have shown 5 of my 24 verses and although there is a lot more to come there are conclusions that can already be drawn. For instance there is a great disparity between the completeness of the messages about code with C6 Q100 being one of the strongest. This is only a problem to the credibility of the presence of these anagrams if it is felt there is no purpose emerging. But it is possible that Nostradamus didn't want complete messages, only keywords that would trigger the right person's interest. This is certainly in keeping with Nostradamus' warning in C6 Q100. However each steintroduces something which seems to defy reasonable probability even when, like C10 Q28 it is restricted to a single line.
And this is true for our next verse for there are words in it that are so complementary to the theme already shown that their presence defies credibility. Yet these are words that I have shown were there from my anagram researches in the early 1990s.
Of these anagrams technicians (ict chiens n'a) has to be the highlight for it is truly complex and rare, appearing only in this verse. It is preceded by the simple anagram for neum and then after technicians follows another complex and singular anagram for barytones. Together they form an adjacent sequence saying neum technicians barytones, words whose connectivity and adjacency surely decreases their probability of coincidental placement even more. In the same line as they occur there is the anagram for neumatic a word implying the practice of using neumes, a practice suited to those who are neum technicians. And it seems to be implied that this combination has the property of defining aspects of a calendar for we also find the adjacent anagrams for notes year.

If the words neum technician are unexpected then their manifestation in a different form in the only verse with neumatics in it lies far outside rational expectations. It is difficult to accept that neumatics might lead back to the name of the prophet in the form of Nostradame but to also lead to the only example of neumaticists or neum-technicians as used in the earlier verse really does test the bounds of accidental creation. Once again we are seeing a mechanism in this information web that has similarities to our own experiences with search engines. You don't have to look uliterate sentences just key words and out of millions of possibilities only a limited few are displayed. Despite what feels like an inadequate entry the process improves itself by its methodology of linking things together.
And in these verses of Nostradamus it can be seen that although other lines may talk of other things there is still consistency in their deviations. All these clues serve as pointers that are incomplete unless considered in context with the interwoven fabric which they provide. But what the most potent nodes show when they are viewed with the earlier verses is that each of the threads can be followed and it is that which suggests there is an informative, intelligent web. In the next verse I only present the line where the potent nodes reside because the story shown in the visible text is a set of pointers to other verses and other streams whereas the anagrams shown reinforce in a dramatic manner the power of the poetic web. It is in this verse that we can see the idea of a neum technician or neumaticist (occurs only here) being tied to Nostradame plus an implication that it is not only music but words that are his interest.

It has taken me nearly twenty years to reach the position presented in this paper yet many of the verses and anagrams and some of the conclusions were known to me in the first year. Why has it taken so long since the skeleton was so readily built?
Over the years I have achieved different levels of understanding and these have been backed by analytical research to provide an independent foundation and a deeper breadth of words. By this method I have gathered a comprehensive base but it cannot include future names other than by speculation. A consequence of building the word-base was the need to come to terms with the odd references that abound in the prophecies. This has often required further research to identify the instances in history, literature, legends that are most probably incorporated into Nostradamus' verses.
Nostradamus relies on the past as he uses metaphors for what is to come. The challenge of showing why each is linked to a particular event is huge and still engages me. But the task of trying to disprove the credibility of my own work also consumes a great deal of time. And the other major contribution to the time taken was the need to rest my mind. The task has placed huge demands of analysis and synthesis on me, especially as its nature meant I had to work alone; not with fans of Nostradamus nor with scientists since fans hold little interest in an evidential basis and the realities of practicing science means that to pursue a study in Nostradamus is the kiss of death for any career.
I mention the foregoing because the next two groups of verses occur in Centuries I which was where I began looking for code. Such a starting point was logical and when I did it I found a sequence of three verses that justified my search. Each of them takes ua different theme. I present them as a groub ut in reverse order. C1 Q48 is another of those verses that has always been thought to be about Nostradamus' Prophecies and in its prominent anagrams confirmation of many things I have already raised can be found.
It is not necessary for all the anagrams I show to be valid in order for the result to be significant and I include them all in order that a fuller assessment can be made. Their frequency of occurrence is shown beneath the table.

The next two verses introduce two of the stories that I expose in detail in my other papers. C1 Q47 is part of two papers on the building of astronomic dates using the past to set a framework for future happenings in Geneva.
Nostradamus' stories that this computer based thread illuminates.
If you use any search engine you will know that the entries it throws ucover a wide range. The searcher must use his knowledge of the sub ject he or she explores in order to gain most benefit. This is true of Nostradamus' work.
Of course there is more than one tale that any theme can be connected to but if these were the products of chance we would expect that they would not be consistent within themselves nor with the other elements of the web.
Using these principles as your guide it isn't possible to build any story that you want for it will normally fail any standard test of connectivity or continuity. It is the strength of the threads that makes the task of rejecting these analyses of mine most difficult. The next few verses follow some of the stories to show that they are inter-weavings of a definitive set of story-lines.

Once again Nostradamus' name in a variant form is found in a verse full of coding strategies. There are the rare words instructed and instructions that occur only in the verse above and below and which correlate with the computing theme with which this series began. There is also a theme in both C1. Q46 and C1 Q47 that can only be described as modern for it unites names of radioactive elements and describes their impact.
This theme is very strong and the story it creates is told in several of my papers involving the 21st century ( e.g. See Nuclear and Geneva 2065) And in the next verse C1 Q46 there is more continuity of an equally striking nature with meteorites being easily identified as being the great fire that falls from the sky for three nights. This fiery topic unites many verses and is part of another of my major papers dealing with fire from the sky.

The next two verses amplify what the last three have delivered but they also include words that relate back to earlier key words. Of these the singular occurrences of program, nomenclaturist (one who gives systemic names) and sefirot (cabalistic enumeration of 10 attributes) are highlights. And in both of the following quatrains singularly occurring variants of Nostradamus' name are once gain able to be found.
The numerous appearances of these variants might seem to indicate that I could find such word-plays at will but this is not born out in practice as each variation is very limited in its repetitions. And there is another aspect of these trails that is worthy of comment and that is that they are never exactly the same but variations on a theme.
These variations don't wander off into generalities but bring with them details that usually clarify what has uuntil now remained a mystery. In these verses one new detail is introduced that may helidentify those who were the target of Nostradamus' work, namely a Nestorian cult.
Nostradamus' word-plays are multi-layered with words chosen for the points each brings into focus. There are many examples of this already but the strength of this practice is at its height in the next verse.

Sefirot provides one of many links to earlier verses and the detail here is quite poignant. In the Sefirot Tiferet is the sixth of the ten spheres and it means adornment. The following is from the Wikipedia entry:
The ties between this meaning and Nostradamus' words in the first line are powerful and even if there is scepticism about my use of anagrams and my insistence that they are in English this attitude isn't relevant here. The connection is quite simple and it is amplified by what has been presented already in C3 Q94 where Nostradamus writes :
The word ornament is equivalent to adornment and a great light is equivalent to the celestial light. But the multilayered nature of these constructions leaves open many possibilities amongst them that Nostradamus himself is symbolised by those who know his purpose as the sixth in a hierarchy of ten members. He is sixth because he is the prophet, the one who occupies Tiferet, the house of the world to come.
This enduring relationshiof a celestial/great light that links the two verses does more to demonstrate that Nostradamus did see the future than ephemeral interpretation about war, floods, Disasters or fire from the sky. The basis connecting them is founded in Nostradamus' heritage and the Hebraic Sephiroth, things he would have undoub tedly been familiar with yet Nostradamus rightfully claims that it will be 500 years before the secret to his wording will be uncovered.
The numerical basis of the computations.
So far I have not followed any paths that deal with numbers but they are there.
There is for example a tight-knit pattern linking three verses where numeral and numerical related words are found as anagrams and one verse C6. Q81 holds four distinct occurrences in its lines. In each of these three verses it is possible to argue the words in them are linked to those themes I have already shown and to use their appearance to expand the width of the trail however I wish to do the opposite and use them to show the narrowness of this thread's width.
In C6 Q81 line 2 holds an anagram for the key-word numerical, line 3 has numerals and line four has the whole anagram for numeral as well as a split anagram for my-numerical.
Of these only numerical and numerals occur elsewhere and this is limited to one verse each which makes this collection a remarkable gathering of a single form. There are some rare occurrences in the lines that are strangely modern and yet they don't seem accidental since they seem connected.
However these ideas are of a form that we would not expect of a 16th century writer. In the first line we have planetic element while the second line presents an insight into transition elements of which iron is one. Iron which is adjacent to the anagram for numerical in line two is the most common element distinguishing rocky earth-like planets and is entitled to be referred to as the planetic-element. But the lettering for iron is simple and it is the more complex ones that suggest an awareness of modern nuclear chemistry.
The details of this verse and the stories it embraces are covered in more detail in several of my other papers (see Geneva 2065). And emerging in this verse is another of the themes that flows through the Prophecies. It relates to a male illness produced by radiation elements from the sky. This leads to infertility amongst males and aspermous fertilisation by women to redress the problem.
Verses in my other papers detail what this means for the survival of species and why such events would lead to the birth of a new creature in an ape of the wild (see Fire from the Sky).
C6 Q81 (Click left for full analysis)
The next verse contains two anagrams for fraction in two different lines with each having adjacent anagrams that give them valid contexts. This anagram also offers a very limited trail as it appears only in one other verse. There is also one occurrence of fractions in a separate verse.
In line 1 of the verse below the anagrams for accurate and dyspareunia (sexual intercourse) are singularities appearing nowhere else and this is also true of transfection in the second line and both palindrome and anomaly in the third line. There are two very uncommon words words in this verse but they have relevance to the third line of the previous verse. Transfection is a modern-day term meaning infection of a cell with purified viral nucleic acid, resulting in sub sequent replication of the virus in the cell. Dyspareunia refers to painful sexual intercourse due to medical or psychological causes. The symptom is significantly more common in women than in men, affecting up to one-fifth of women at some point in their lives.

The high degree of focus shown throughout the foregoing presentation on numeration of astronomy in Nostradamus' poetry continues in the one other verse where the anagram for numerals occurs as shown below.

There is another possibility in lines 1 and 2 arising out of the text and the hidden messages and it relates to the way that Nostradamus altered his own rules to hide his name (When the litters are overturned by the whirlwind and faces are covered by cloaks). It involves Nostradamus' surname being split into three parts whereby (tSeron sda ma)=Nostredames. The result leads to a statement which says Nostredames FACET RULES UNEXACT (tSeron TFACE sde LEURS ma NTEAUXC).
The verse's hidden message delves into Nostradamus' part in a sect whose rules regulate what he can present and hints at his unhappiness with their guidelines. But this is a side issue to my purpose here which is to show the limited places where he uses anagrams for numerals. By the bounded-ness of these and the other anagrams already presented we are able to judge that the numerals relate to fractions defining planetary paths.
And other parts have implied that these fractions will appear as ciphers embedded in the verses and they will take the mathematically precise musical form used by the ancients to describe the harmony of the spheres.
Nostradamus' notation documents.
In addition to the fore-mentioned anagrams for numeral-related words there are four singular occurrences of anagrams that have numeration as their root and of these I want to present the one that leads us back to the earlier trail. This involves verse C5 Q75 and with its internal links I can set the paths to specific people and the exact place in their work which Nostradamus used for his notation guides.
There is a great anomaly in these sources as I shall unfold.
Many of the verses I cover are of little interest to other analysts since they self-evidently are not prophecies but have more to do with Nostradamus and his code. This is true of the verse that lies below but out of its enigmas a quite interesting attribute of Nostradamus' claim to be a prophet emerges. And as always my reconstruction may be validly questioned but its foundation of rare complexity and interwoven relationships will still suggest the original message was meant to serve Nostradamus' purpose of astronomic musical notation.

It might seem that words within the anagrams such as walter(uualther) and tournament lead to dead ends but this is not the case as I hope to show in the next two verses. But before proceeding it should be observed that the fourth line of the original text fits well with a trombone player of the 16th century. Here is a contemporary tale illustrating that point:
Of greater relevance than this odd musical linkage is where this thread now takes me. This paper started with computerization related words and followed it into a consistent band of correlated words linked to coding of astronomical objects. There was also a limited-scope, narrative field that talked of modern nuclear materials, illnesses and cures. The detail increased with every verse but it is still insufficient to completely define the coding source. The element missing is Nostradamus' sources but a great dilemma arises in their resolution as I show the paths this quest takes us on.
By now my work will have evoked many responses in readers and each person's response dictates the acceptability of my next verses. If you consider that it is impossible for any person to see the future and limit your judgment to that your unscientific approach dictates that the evidence I present is the deluded work of a charlatan. However if you are reading this it is more likely that you see my evidence does deserve a more scientific reason before being discounted.
However it is not this that presents the dilemma - it is the extension of what comes packaged with the evidence - it is the elephant in the room.
Nostradamus claimed he was a prophet and saw into the future yet his work is written so as to obscure its ability to be judged. What I have done and what I am doing is taking away that protective element that allows Nostradamus' work to be instantly dismissed.
If he could see the future then the visions of a nuclear world would be acceptable but if he could see the future his knowledge would surely go beyond that of our modern day.
If he could see the future maybe he could have foreseen the need for it to be written in a modern language but this in itself is almost too remarkable for a modern rational analyst to conceive.
If Nostradamus could see the future he would have written in detail about people from that future and there is evidence that he did.
It is possible to take the view that yes Nostradamus did write code and that it was in anagrams but that he was like us purely a product of his day and held back by all the limitations that imposed.
And I would have been comfortable with that if the evidence did not suggest otherwise.
Many of the people about whom Nostradamus wrote were from his past and since we can all do that these particular tales present no dilemmas. However when the setting for some of these people introduce things that would not be known for hundreds of years there is a dilemma which is only resolved if he could see the future. There are some quite powerful verses about people of his time that I present in other papers such as Jules of Agen and Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa. These are comfortable papers since they are the sort we might expect to find in any biography and from them comes useful coverage of Nostradamus' sources.
For instance my paper on Agrippa shows the importance of this figure in the thinking of Nostradamus and begins the process of understanding the code mechanisms on which Nostradamus drew.
There is also my paper on Marguerite d'Angouleme whom Nostradamus certainly knew of and may well have known at a personal level since he lived for some time within 20 kilometers of her and their interests lay in similar fields. But Marguerite was the grandmother to Henry IV, first of the Bourbon line and if my analysis is at all believable then the story told by Nostradamus tells of things two centuries in the future.
And there is my paper on Henry IV himself which covers a period thirty to forty years after Nostradamus died. Every paper I present has the same fabric as the one you are currently reading, being comprehensive and definitive in its coverage and each has a purpose showing a relationshito the goals that underpinned Nostradamus' motivation.
And this is true of an even more remarkable verse in my discussion of sects since it gives strong evidence that it is based on scenes in Shakespeare's Midsummers Nights dream, a play written several decades after Nostradamus' death.
So our dilemma is easy to define but it is a natural dilemma that should be expected if the hypothesis is valid for we are dealing with a person who claimed to see the future. That is the hypothesis that my evidence is meant to test and to preclude the possibility he could do what he claimed is bad science.
It is the evidence alone that must pass the test of credibility and it is this basis that is paramount for assessing my next presentation. The verse of interest has all the hallmarks of a manual of instruction. Its anagrams show a source that could well have provided an exemplar for Nostradamus as it involves manifold references to rules, poetry and music and refers to the tournament of the Meistersingers of Germany.

It is possible to see this as part of Nostradamus own experience since it was in the 1540s that the singing contests were at their height, however I believe the evidence points to the musical work of Richard Wagner, 19th century composer of the Mastersingers of Nuremberg, an opera where Walther van Stolzing creates a song about the Morning Star of Venus for a singing tournament.
The visible text of the next quatrain I present makes it clear that Nostradamus took an interest in the prize offered at Nuremberg. The verse is also linked closely to the theme of this paper for it holds anagrams for number, numbered and renumbered. Most of these occur only in this verse but number, renumber and renumbers are found in one other verse C6 Q15 which, like C3 Q53, also alludes to a prize at Nuremberg.

The above verse identifies a purpose of this verse's anagrams since it includes the name of Henric Agrippa who I believe is a critical source for Nostradamus' encoding method (see my paper on Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa which discusses the parts of his documents providing useful keys to the code).
It is because of Nostradamus' evident quest for valid reference points and other clues (such as the name Walther in C5 Q75) that I lean towards the Meistersinger reference applying to Wagner's Mastersinger rather than contemporary events of Nostradamus' era.
In earlier verses I have shown that there is good reason to believe Nostradamus refers to neumatics and someone who is a neumaticist, although these are terms suited to the 16th century and have no real equivalent in later music even though most music of the modern era is coded into a written form.
The absence of an appropriate term may well have caused Nostradamus to apply these archaic terms to a writer of a future era. And it is likely that he would need a future person's work as his exemplar for only such a composer could generate a work that could present a consistent standard over time. And Wagner's work would serve other ends for it tied in with other parts of the documentation from which Nostradamus built his code.
Nostradamus had special needs that went beyond the classics, needs that were not always served well by material available in the 16th century, needs that involved rigor and system when dealing with code in poetry, needs that are met in Wagner's Mastersingers of Nuremberg. To show that this was a reality for Nostradamus I turn to the two verses that follow C1 Q20, the place where my trail for Mastersinger began.

The above verse is extremely rich in anagrams and for 20 years I have seen the potency in its messages. The first line's anagrams invites the reader to to read on and this is what you find when you do.

Together these six lines paint a powerful picture of what Nostradamus' code is built on. In presenting these I have moved away from the strict path involving numeration. However in pursuing that numeration path I opened ua limited number of highly specific ideas which needed to be shown as being equally as useful, complex, detailed and traceable.
These lines plus those of C1 Q20 are based on anagrams that are once again extremely rare within the text as I show in the frequency of occurrence list below. This rarity once again defies the logic of chance but the nature of chance means absolute proof will always be nigh impossible.
The verses offer many obvious internal and external linkages to the theme of musical coding that delivers astronomic reference points but these three verses also deliver a lot of methodology and they helconfirm the names behind their source. For instance the reference to rhetoric and versification is fully in keeping with Erasmus of Rotterdam as shown by the following partial entry on rhetoric in Wikipedia:
And Erasmus wrote a great deal on versification even coining the word poetaster which ties him to the tabulation of verse forms the Mastersinger judges used. The following entry is from Wikipedia:
There are only two verses where the anagram for Erasmus' name appears and one is that discussed earlier (C6 Q100). The second example is in C3 Q46 which is one of only two verses carrying the word poetaster. This is a verse that is about one of the great mutations and it is more fully covered in my paper on floods in the 21st century.
The second and third line deliver deadly scientific detail to the suggestions made in earlier verses of a sexual illness affecting males. Once again such an important clue takes repetitive form as testified by words and phrases such as cholera, spirochaetal, girliness_replaces, sex_lifes_store, aspermous, part_ genesis, and equals-bacteriophages_ node.

This paper deliberately avoids reliance on Nostradamus' claimed predictive prowess and concentrates on the linguistics since this indicates in a much more scientific way that he probably was the future-seer he claimed to be. The reason for this is predictions and skepticism are both able to take strength from the future inevitably becoming part of the past while the language of his written words remains constant throughout time.
In an earlier part I showed entries about the Sephirot and in C1 Q0 I showed references to an emblem and these two concepts, like so many others, are also correlated. They form a highly important aspect of the numerical-linguistic code that complements the musical code suggested by Agrippa's writings and the rhetoric of poetry published by Erasmus. Together these elements transpose lettering into astronomic number values.
The first clue to the connectivity of Sephirot and emblem is that these key anagrams often occur together and they take forms that are consistent with these connections. There is a French word on which Nostradamus could rely to generate appropriate links to the ten spheres of the Sephirot. It is the word tremblement for it holds the foundation on which to build 'ten emblem tree'. This word for shaking will provide a useful pointer to quatrains that hold the values ascribed by Nostradamus to the Hebraic Sephirot.
Efficiency factors affecting language and code must inevitably influence Nostradamus' alignment of stories and his coding methodology so the use of this term for shaking is also likely to make it the place where a consistent story of earthquakes and bombardment from the heavens is placed. Another foundation word is that of ensemble which when used in conjunction with astronomic terms can generate the same idea of a tree with ten emblems but its stories relate to conjunctions. As stated earlier in this paper there are five anagrams for emblem and a further unique one for emblems. The words ten and tree are not good indicators on their own because they have hundreds of occurrences in the prophecies so their usage relies totally on their linkage to the much rarer anagram for emblem.
In the first of the verses given below both the astronomic reference and the shaking of the earth are very evident with the root of the anagram for emblem coming from sembleM. Its link to the Sephirot derives from Corinth and Ephesus (orintheEpheS= Sephirothene) taken from the names of two places in the eastern Mediterranean and Asia Minor respectively. This naming of places provides extra detail consistent with earlier pointers in this paper including the text of the verse below.

Throughout this paper I have argued that not only did Nostradamus incorporate anagrams relating to computerisation but that each element complements each story that he tells. In fact my example of the search engines of our modern era is more than an allusion since Nostradamus' code employs the same technique. By the usage of these computational key words he explains what he meant by the quote I gave at the head of this paper.
The intensity, complexity and interconnectivity that is found throughout Nostradamus' work means it is no more accidental than the pages found by the search engines. Modern search engines identify themes by the use of keywords that do not make normal literary sense. But successful listing of any site is not founded on chance either since it happens by the judicious use of keywords.
Below I show the keywords that I enter into this paper's HTML code and which, over time will see it rise high in any search for Nostradamus. In this paper I have demonstrated Nostradamus' Prophecies bear many links to modern concepts we know well and it doesn't have to read easily or scan properly since it is nothing but a list and with properly selected keywords you can get to most sites that contain any topic you choose.
Many of Nostradamus' Prophecies can drive the reader to despair for what they see makes little sense and any semiotic meaning is hard to see. But it is often these verses that have most to tell us about Nostradamus' code and his methods. A good example of this is shown in the next verse.

However this reference doesn't come as a complete anagram but as a split anagram for the name with which he was born namely Michel Nostredame (eStcommisLHera....nd)

My aim is met and I have set down the reasons why my normal scepticism fails me whenever I look at Nostradamus' work. In doing this I present a chance for others to create false perceptions of me but so be it. I am not alone in this feeling and I end with Nostradamus own reflections on his vulnerability.
