Nostradamus guide in his 1558 Epistle to Henry [HEE7] about calamitous eventsThe Calamitous events verse series in Nostradamus' PropheciesVerse C6 Q24 is one of those referenced by Nostradamus as part of his major story lines. This is achieved by it being one of those that uses a form of the focus word calamitous from his 1558 Henry Epistle.

In this verse's second line of text it says Under Cancer calamitous war. This war is linked via its anagrams, to the emergence of a human-like species with powers that eventually bring about the demise of our species.

In the previous verse C6 Q23 the reactions of towns in France to rising sea waters is raised, while in this verse part of the treatment of those who carry infections during the flood, becomes a major issue for the treatment of the dead and the poor.

List of verses in Superape seriesThese stories fit into a consistent pattern found in the preceding verses which suggest a time is coming when the rationale of mankind shifts away from a modern more humane ethos, towards that of a pagan ruling class.

There are two clusters in the anagrams of this current verse that stand out.

The first highlights the problems that increased mortality presents to any society while the second deals with how high mortality accelerates the evolution of humankind's replacement species.

Nostradamus Centuries 6 Quatrain 24 War calamity morticians crematiosnAnagrams  for morticians (ioinct Mars), cremations (oinct Mars e), tularaemic (r calamiteu),  filariae (ifiera la), arsenous (s ſera nou),  rareness (res ſera n) and antinomic (nioinct Ma) imply difficulties in many cremation  resistant cultures.

That difficulty relates to the way of safely disposing of the corpses when mass numbers of people are executed after becoming infected with disease.

There are other anagrams such as ionic streamlet (ioionc_ t Mars et le ſ) that relate to how this death disposal matter manifests itself.

The cluster generating the impression of human evolution involves anagrams for  creationism (ioinct Mars e), pre-selects (rs et le ſcept), progenital (i par long te) and superapes (peu apres ſ). In this modern setting creationist actions induce the creation of a new species.

but to do  this they transform their own beliefs as to the manner by which all things began. They take advantage of what has been established by biological science to serve their resurrectionist faith.

This verse is paired in the Calamity series with C9 Q83 because of their focus on death and their links to the calamity quote in Nostradamus' 1558 Epistle. It is also paired with C2 Q94 in the Superape series but the basis for this is the concept of creationism not only the anagram for superape.
