Nostradamus C5 Q40: Infanticide haunts the French Royal lineage.

This verse carries no direct reference to fire from the sky but I link it to C1 Q46 which does because these two verses are the only ones where anagrams for meteorites occur.  What gives me confidence that this linkage is not an accident is the second line of the current verse C5 Q40 holds the only anagram for uranologist which means a person knowledgeable in physics that studies celestial bodies and the universe as a whole. In that same line there are a series of highly complex and rare anagrams for interaction, dialogues and perfection.  On its own uranologist fits extremely well to the study of meteorites but these additional anagrams confined to the same location reinforce the same concept of a scientific approach thereby giving the whole structure far greater cohesive strength.

The above anagrams found in the second line of text imply a high level conversation as does 'his voice' in the text of the fourth line. And different anagrams provide the means of deducing the people involved and their motivation. The names Valoix and Poitiers taken in conjunction with the anagram for exposito (which means a foundling) possibly suggests a child was born and abandoned during the extra-material relationship of Henry II of France and Diane de Poitiers. Henry.

In many circumstances the nobility turned to their astronomers for comfort as to the fate of their offspring and that seems to be the implication of both the text and anagram messages. One of the popular astronomic events for forecasting the destiny of humans took note of unusual astronomic activity and fiery objects falling from the sky  fell into this class.

In these two verses holding anagrams for meteorites we therefore have two periods separated by many hundreds of years. As we progress through the series it is possible to conclude that Nostradamus used the same astral phenomena to indicate different periods in the Royal lineage leading from his time to ours. So the style of astronomic wording in each should provide a clue as to the period each verse represents.

There are two sets of names within the anagrams of the verse that cover much of the sixteenth century. In the second line there are adjacent anagrams for 'Louis Nogaret'. According to Wikipedia:

Jean Louis de Nogaret de La Valette (1554 -1642), was a powerful member of the French nobility at the turn of the 17th century. He was deeply involved in plots and politics throughout his life.

The last line contains two names as adjacent anagrams who were a prominent pairing in the sixteenth century. The names Valoix (or Valois) and Poitiers validly link Henry II and his court favourite Diane Poitiers who gained Henri's protection up until his untimely death.

Diane de Poitiers (3 September 1499 - 25 April 1566) was a French noblewoman and a prominent courtier at the courts of kings Francis I and his son, Henri II of France She became notorious as the latter's favourite. It was in this capacity that she wielded much influence and power at the French Court, which continued until Henry was mortally wounded in a tournament accident, during which his lance wore her favour (ribbon) rather than his wife's.

It was the death of Henri II that led to much of Nostradamus fame for his verse C1 Q35 was seen as predicting this event "1. The young lion will overcome the older one, 2. in a field of combat in single fight: 3. He will pierce his eyes in their golden cage; 4. two wounds in one, then he dies a cruel death."

Verse C.5 Q.40 in both text and anagrams is consistent with the theme of royal lineage and the influential sects that shaped that bloodline. It appears to be intermixed with more of Nostradamus' astronomic coding mechanisms that leave the impression of a more modern role for this lineage. The ideas are consistent with other verses that highlight similar events at the end of this century.
