This verse is one of several where he uses the image of fire from the sky striking the earth as markers for verses containing the goals for his prophecies.

This theme is developed in more detail in my paper called Apophis. The text's story is amplified in the anagrams which sets the location by naming Jerusalem and Aleppo.

The verse also carries powerful coding information that is highlighted by the terms wordlore and temurah which is the name for a Cabbalistic coding process. Via these we know that various letters are substituted using simple formulas. The anagrams correctly imply this is open to ill use and yet it is found frequently in this verse especially for the letters x (s) and uu (w).

This suggests the code is a variant algorithm of the following type:
