Nostradamus Sefirot:N's linked Verse Chart showing some signs for events at end of 21stC

Preamble: In the first chart of the Sefirot series I stated:

Nostradamus' work holds many conundrums designed to limit access to the content of his Prophecies. This is true to an extent where most people believe his work is the deliberate shambles of a charlatan. Yet there is direct evidence in his prose writings that show he had a pre-thought plan which guided his work. His Preface to the first batch of Prophecies published in 1552 clearly indicates that he already knew the content that his Prophecies would cover. He wasn't making it up as he went but took already recorded events in what seems a random order and placed them in a new sequence which he called his ten Centuries.

In order to keep control over his writings Nostradamus then needed a scheme that would tell him which topics he had already covered and he did this by relying on a coding device well known in the sixteenth century. It is part of the Cabala but the reasons for its use don't necessarily require that he believed in the mystical principles at the heart of its source. He needed a scheme that a person in a later time would be able to associate with the time of his writing. The Tree of Life also known as the Sefirot, Sephirot or Sephiroth was such a device. It is probable that he drew up charts based on these trees in which he placed ten verses and then used the ciphers traditionally linked to the ten spheres of the tree to guide the content wording and lettering in each verse.

(Note: In the chart below verse content is presented in four formats
     1. Translation into English in black,
     2. Original French text in blue,

Aim of this presentation

It is the purpose of this paper to present my Sephirot Chart of Nostradamus Ciphers whose links reveal the mechanism for giving dates to events at the end of the 21st century. In this set of verses Nostradamus ciphers center on the movements of Polaris; they include Polaris, polar signs, polar route & polar site. The movement relates to the current Pole Star (Polaris) as it passes its zenith in 2105CE.  Nostradamus mechanism involves prominent events of an astronomic, environmental and human type.

I believe Nostradamus presents these verses to show in detail how his mechanism for dates operates. The astronomic dates use planet conjunctions in specified constellations to select important years; the rising of named constellations is used for giving specific months while the annual circle of the little bear around the Pole Star is used to set larger periods of a year.

Within this cluster Nostradamus uses another device that defines two periods separated by long periods in which similar conjunctions are relevant. He does this by the use of older names for regions affected by events beyond the later part of the current century. The name Guienne used in the text of two verses applies to the south-west lowlands of France as do several of the names given in these verses. That this is relevant is made clear in another verse where it mentions turmoil in both France and Italy with the Italian reference appearing as Insub ria in another verse. This is the old name for the lowland region  around Milan occupied by the Celtic Insub re tribes in about 250BCE. Around the sixteenth century this name applied to lowlands below the lakes at the foot of the Alps.

Nostradamus' Prophecies mention many towns in these regions as they are ones with which he was familiar through living in those regions or travelling long periods within them. This is a reason that would have made their fate so central to Nostradamus thinking since his suggested flood levels would one day drown all the towns in which he had dwelt.

And this cluster of verses presents a rather clever way of suggesting these floods as relevant environmental features allowing specific dates to be given for ongoing events in our century and beyond. In the first line of C4 Q32 his text says In the places & times of flesh giving way to fish. There are other verses where this style can be seen and they relate to events in this century and beyond. In my sefirot for flood ciphers I included C9 Q69 whose fourth line says Lobster on the land not a third thereof will remain. It is clear that these present a style that thinly covers important meaning rather than them being inexplicable irrelevancies. Each needs the cluster to which it has strong links to deliver uits context and content.

But the line in C4 Q32 does more than this because it draws into play the significance of the ancient names for definable lowland regions. In the year 2100 their will be one of the few occasions on which each of the three major planets will be in conjunction and it takes place in Aries. Such a conjunction is found in November 2100 in Virgo while earlier Mars plus Venus  aligned at the head of Aries and Jupiter, Saturn and the Sun in the middle of the constellation. This is a setting adequately described in verse C1 Q51 (at the head of the cluster shown below). And there is an additional feature related to the times in which these older names were relevant since they not only define the place but provide the basis for the time (as stated above).

Nostradamus was born in late 1503 when a similar series of conjunctions of the three major planets was occurring in Gemini. When he was 21 years of age another occurrence took place in Pisces. So through these two rare planetary configurations Nostradamus bore the mystic relevance of his age. Through the timing of his birth and the anticipated reunion of stars in 1524 when he was living in Guienne he was to experience the powerful but flawed mysticism which turned astronomic events into astrological prediction. There were many prophets in his time and the conjunction of 1524 in Pisces was widely seen by people as a time of pending doom.

The conjunction of 1524 did bring about great anxiety that became a panic and this mindset is attributed to the publication of an almanac listing future astronomic events to which its authors (Stoeffler and Phlaum) gave a passing note to 1524  in a small paragraph in their 1499 publication which said:

In this year we shall see eclipse neither of sun nor moon. But in this year [1524] will occur positions of the planets well worthy of wonderment. For in the month of February will occur twenty conjunctions, small, mean, and great, of which sixteen will occupy a watery sight [the astrological sign of Pisces] signifying to well nigh the whole world, climates, kingdoms, provinces, estates, dignitaries, brutes, beasts of thesea, and to all dwellers on earth indub itable mutation, variation and alteration such as we have scarce perceived for many centuries from historiographers and our elders.

From this passage and its inherent links to water people other than the authors saw the mutations as including Noah style floods. It wasn't only charlatans who took this view for it became a phenomenon affecting decisions by governments across Europe. Despite Stoefflers denial that this was not his meaning nor was it what he had actually said, people planned for what they saw as the end of the world. But 1524 brought no floods; in fact it was a remarkably dry year. But equally there was no remarkable onset of the mutations variations and alterations that were included in the note in the almanac.

Nostradamus would therefore have been well aware of the folly of basing predictions on astronomic settings but at the same time he would have realized that such settings provide an absolute calendar by which to identify timing of earthly events.

There is no doub t that Nostradmus, unlike Stoeffler, did foresee mammoth future floods but the floods were prophecy whereas his astronomy settings were a dating mechanism to which the rising water levels added a calibration for other earthly events.

I have composed books of prophecies each containing a hundred quatrains of astronomic prophecies, which I have intentionally arranged a little obscurely. They contain perpetual predictions for (the period) from now until the year 3797...  Cesar Preface 1555 (PCE6).

The world is approaching, an anaragonic revolution [2105 precession of Polestar] and from the present [1555] I write here that [from the aforesaid event] before a hundred and seventy seven years three months plus eleven days [2282CE] there will be pestilence, long famine, and wars. And by worldwide floods between here and the term I have fore-stated, and before and after it by several times, will [the world] be so diminished, and so few people will there be found that want to take to the fields which will become free for as long as their prior owners have held them..Cesar Preface PCE9

So this is an important cluster drawn together by ciphers based on on single theme and within these verses the ideas raised above can be perceived (See below).
