Nostradamus C7 Q02: Cabalah for commenting on the human soul.
Copyright: Allan Webber, December 2015
Centuries seven has only forty-two verses and it acts as
Nostradamus' Cabalistic Book of Names; a guide to the sounds he associated
with actions and a list of people and places.
So the first line of text could be telling us par mars with
its double ar sound represents war while Arles doesn't.
Other chapters hold similar clues but in this cluster Nostradamus
emphasises a single theme.
In this verse (C7 Q02) he compares the ancient arts
for coding messages to his own and suggests they are of a similar ancestry and united by a
common purpose. They are a commentary on the human soul.
One other sound he uses is
that of the letter zee (3 times), with the sounds ouz and ez in the last
ine indicating where codes about traitors and fanatics are prominent.
That this group of verses has a special purpose is
highlighted by there being only three verses where the vital anagram for
centuries can be found and this is one of them.
