Nostradamus C5 Q98: Impact of human-induced rise in oceanic arsenic levels during the 21st C

The following verse supplies detail about the environmental factors relevant to the end of the 21st century. One of the consequences is a large rise in the arsenic levels in the oceans. It is this that poisons the food chains used by man.

This verse earns its place in the fire from the sky series because its fourth line talks of distress through fire from the sky. I chose to pair it with C5 Q81 because that verse carries anagrams for stony meteorites of specific crystalline structure and it is this type of object that is linked to modern accounts of fire from the sky. I also pair these verses because  some of their anagrams focus on actions of leaders from the Middle-East. In each case these involve environmental climate hazards. In this verse the anagrams can be seen as providing direct links to Tehran, poison, cancer and a declining seed-line.

And support for both verses comes from their possessing text and anagram linkages to other verses in this series.

For instance in this verse the text nominates specific sites in Southern France as do the texts of several others And what remains in the text and the anagrams gives cohesion and expansion to the basic story line provided by the linkages.

 By their shared presence we then have hints at how funding  in a stressful time is as much a product of defiance as it is of malice.
